5 Tips to Enhance Your Disney World Trip

Are you planning a trip to Florida’s Disney World?

There are four theme parks, two water parks, and 27 theme resort hotels, as well as many other attractions to keep you excited and entertained.

A Disney World trip will be magical.

But do you want to make it truly unforgettable? Scroll down for our 5 tips to make your Disney World trip to the next level.

Buy Tickets and Make Reservations

Do you want to visit Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom? Then you’ll need to buy a park ticket and make a park reservation.

This is a relatively new change that Disney has made. But it’s important that you do both.

You can visit one park each day. When you book your tickets, you have to choose specific dates. Disney recommends that you then make park reservations immediately after buying tickets.

That way, you can make sure that you get your spot visiting the parks that you want. Otherwise, you might book your tickets but be unable to make reservations for your favorite parks.

You can view park availability on the Disney World website before you buy your tickets. That way you can make sure that you book tickets for dates that your favorite parks are available.

Booking your tickets and making park reservations mean that you’ll be able to enjoy all of the magic that Disney World has to offer. This includes meeting Disney World characters 2021 style.

Use Technology

Disney Account

The easiest way to book your tickets and make your park reservations is on a Disney account. You can quickly create one on the Disney website.

You can also make other bookings on your Disney account, including hotels and restaurants.

“My Disney Experience” App

It’s also highly recommended that you download the “My Disney Experience” app onto your smartphone. You can then link this to the bookings and reservations that you have made.

Before you arrive at Disney World, you can use the app to make more reservations, purchase photo packages, and much more.

You can also buy MagicBands on the app. These give you a contactless way to enter the parks and can be used to purchase food, drink, and merchandise.

Once you’re in Disney World, the app reduces the need for physical contact. This means that you can maintain social distancing during your visit.

It can be used to check-in and unlock your hotel room door at your resort. You can also make cashless payments and check attraction wait times throughout the parks.

When it comes to food and drink, you can check-in for your dining reservations using your app. You can also order food without having to wait in line or speak to cashiers. Again, this means that you can keep a safe distance away from others.

Make Dining Reservations

When it comes to dining in the parks and resorts, you need to remember to make reservations. You can click here to see a list of the restaurants that are open.

If you want to visit a restaurant inside the theme parks, you have to make a booking in advance. You also need a dining reservation if you want to enter a Disney resort that you’re not staying at.

This means that you need to plan where you’ll eat in advance. This is especially true because there are currently fewer seats available, to ensure social distancing.

Make your reservations in advance. On the “My Disney Experience” app, you can make reservations up to 60 days in advance. The earlier you book, the more likely you’ll be able to visit your favorite restaurants.

As a reminder, characters are not allowed to come up to tables for autographs or photos at the moment. They will be in the parks and resorts, but you’ll have to admire them from a distance for now.

Choose Where You Want to Stay

Any resort that you stay in at Disney World will be magical. But when choosing your accommodation, it’s worth thinking about what you want to be close to and how you’ll move around.

You can choose to stay at a resort that is within walking distance of a Disney theme park. Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, Beach Club Resort, Yacht Club Resort, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort are within walking distance of Epcot and Hollywood Studios. You can also stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and walk to Magic Kingdom.

There is Disney transportation between resorts and theme parks. For example, the Disney Skyliner gondolas stop at Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Art of Animation Resort, Pop Century Resort, and Riviera Resort.

However, Disney transport is currently operating at reduced capacity so that people can remain socially distanced. This means that it might take slightly longer to get to places.

You can also bring or rent a car while you’re staying at Disney World. You can also make use of ride services between the resorts and theme parks.

There are plenty of options to move around Disney World theme parks and resorts. But thinking about this before you book can help make life a little bit easier.

Wear a Good Mask

At Disney World, face coverings are required for all guests aged 2 and over. So, it’s important to make sure that your mask is comfortable and keeps you safe.

According to Disney guidelines, masks must go around your ears or tie behind your head. Scares and neck gaiters are not permitted.

You’ll need to wear your mask for long periods of the day. Bring one that is comfortable, secure, and will keep you safe.

It’s best to bring multiple masks with you during the day. That way, you can change if your mask gets dirty, uncomfortable, or wet.
