Queen Phyllis
On Air Personality / Assistant to the GM
“The Morning Show (TMS)” (Monday-Friday, 6am-10am)
Queen Phyllis was a stay at home mom for many years which allowed her to raise a family and to support her husband and business partner, Brother Charles. She has spent much time supporting the many family businesses Queen and Brother Charles have owned and operated including; “CC Sounds”, a professional DJ & MC service, “The New England Urban Music Awards,” and a transportation company. For 15 years we provided door-to-door transportation for supportive families in the Boston area. The most recent business is TOUCH 106.1 FM radio station established in November 2006.
You can catch Queen Phyllis Monday and Friday mornings 6am-9am on The Morning Show where she handles scheduling interviews, promoting contests, hosting shows and developing community initiatives.
TMS continues to stretch itself and TOUCH FM beyond the regular perimeters of a radio program and radio station through supporting communities and families in times of need. In 2010 and 2011, Turkeys on the move was born and Queen Phyllis alongside Brother Charles and the TMS Crew were able to get local transportation companies to donate turkeys to families in need in collaboration with TOUCH 106.1 FM. Through this collaborative effort over one thousand turkeys were able to be donated during the holidays to families in need. .
In addition to her broadcast and business endeavors; Queen Phyllis is an eleven year veteran educator of the Boston Public School system in special education. Queen Phyllis and Brother Charles have a loving family which includes seven children and two wonderful grandchildren.
