Charles Clemons is a True Bostonian, having been raised in Roxbury, Massachusetts in Mission Hill on Annunciation Road, he grew up in Dorchester in the Four Corners Area on Rosseter Street in Boston. The oldest of five children his mother taught him very early that he needed to be a leader, protector and be independent. He always represents and speaks for the people, and is often called, Brother Charles. Charles is the proud father of 7, Grandfather of 2 and has been married to his wife Phyllis for 22 years.

Charles became an entrepreneur, he traded marbles for a penny and sold them for a nickel, he picked up bottles and returned them to recycling centers.  And at the age of 10, he opened his first business, a lemonade stand. Charles purchased his first radio kit at radio shack and discovered his love for radio and music. It was at the age of 15 that Charles officially became a DJ calling himself C.C., then coined himself C.C. the Mastermixer.

Talk about a young man who went after whatever he wanted, at age 16 he applied for his first permit at Boston City Hall in order to have Block parties that would bring his family, friends and neighbors together through music.  This led to him becoming an unpaid intern at WILD for two years working 50 hours a week because he wanted to learn about the music industry.  At the age of 19 he became the youngest Music Director in the country and was featured in Billboard magazine.  And quite naturally…you guessed it, he also was a concert promoter.

In his professional career, Charles became a correctional officer to monitor and ensure fair treatment, the safety and well-being of incarcerated Men of Color.  He later decided that he could also make an impact on the streets that he grew up in.  And, for 13 years Charles walked the beat in Roxbury and Dorchester as a Boston Police Officer.

As and entrepreneur Charles, simultaneously and successfully operated First Choice Limousine Service for 17 years, where as he employed 1000′s of Boston Residents. Inspire to fulfill his lifetime dream Charles sold First Choice Limousine Service in 2006.

November 2006 Charles co-founded; TOUCH 106.1 FM, known as The Fabric of the Black Community. TOUCH 106.1 FM is strategically located in the heart of the Black Community in the City of Boston. Which allows the people broader access to real time media, TOUCH 106.1 FM is the vehicle and platform that speaks to and for the people of Boston.

Charles is also an activist, in March of 2009, he walked to Washington, DC and lobbied Congress to give more power to local FM radio stations across the country, which was signed into law by President Barack Obama, Jan. 2012 .

For over 35 years, Charles has elevated himself to become a Triple Threat, DJ, MC & Entertainer performing at thousands of anniversaries, birthday parties and weddings.
