Phaedra Parks’ friend-turned-nemesis Angela Stanton recently claimed the reality star’s defamation suit against her was dismissed, but sources close to Phaedra dispute that.

“It was never dismissed. It was refiled,” said the source who clarified that both Angela and “the publisher” are named in the legal action.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans might remember that Phaedra brought suit against Vibe after it posted a story alleging that Phaedra and Angela engaged in illegal activities together.

In May, Phaedra filed a $30 million defamation lawsuit against the “false” allegations.

Little has been reported on the case since that time, but Angela’s tweet, the validity of which is in question, suggested that the Atlanta attorney wasn’t able to convince the justice system that bringing charges against Angela was worthwhile.

“Wondering Y @phaedraparks ain’t told nobody her fed lawsuit against @vibe was dismissed,” Angela tweeted, including the Twitter handles of Phaedra’s “RHOA” co-stars.
